Kanye West Managing Kim Kardashian? Rapper Wants Fiancée to Be Taken 'Seriously'
Kanye West is said to taking control of his fiancée Kim Kardashian's career as insiders claim he wants her to be taken seriously in Hollywood.
The "New Slaves" rapper, 36, is arguably among the world's most famous hip-hop moguls and he reportedly wants Kardashian, who is a reality TV star, to reach the same level of stardom. The E! star has dabbled in acting, singing, fashion and modeling in addition to reality TV and West is determined to boost her career despite her already being managed by her mother Kris Jenner.
"Kanye is now totally in charge of Kim's career and his non-stop wheeling and dealing is leaving Kris out of control," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"His goal is to get people to respect Kim and take her seriously ... it's basically the same kind of thing he did when he was launching his rap career after being known primarily as a producer," the insider explained.
The Hollywood stars are set to wed in Paris during the summer which could be why the drastic changes are taking place at this time.
Kardashian and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney are renowned for having seemingly endless endorsement deals. In the past they have been affiliated with weight loss company Quicktrim and shoe company Sketchers among others, but the endorsements now appear to be more limited.
"Kanye has ordered Kim to run out the clock on several of her fashion endorsement projects, including the lucrative deal with Sears which she shares with her sisters," the source said.
"Kanye has managed to get Kim to cut her magazine and media appearances by a shocking level and that's going directly against Kris' plan to seize every publicity opportunity offered to her daughters," the source added.
The report comes five months after insiders claimed the mother of one was undergoing a complete image makeover after being advised by West. Shortly after giving birth to baby North, Kardashian dyed her trademark brunette locks blonde and made conservative changes to her once skimpy wardrobe.
"Kanye has big plans to totally revamp Kim's whole life. He is specific in what he wants her to look like and dress like and she's happily going along with the plan now," a source said last year.
"There are more big changes planned and it seems like Kim is totally on board with everything Kanye wants," the source continued. "She feels like she is becoming more sophisticated by following his advice."
