Kanye West: New Family Makes Me Want To Live Again After Mother's Death
Kanye West decided to get candid about dealing with the loss of his mother on the Kris Jenner show recently.
Jenner, the 57-year-old talk show host and mother to West's girlfriend Kim Kardashian, welcomed the rapper on the finale of her six week talk show pilot. After West's mother, Donda West, passed away in 2007 during a cosmetic surgical procedure, he has spoken very little about his grieving process.
However, the rapper opened up to Jenner about how her daughter and their new baby girl North West was changing his outlook on things.

"After I lost my mother, there were times I felt like I would put my life at risk," West revealed on Jenner's talk show. "I felt like sometimes I didn't have something to live for, and now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for."
Sources previously revealed that West's new child has caused him to miss his mother even more.
"[The fatherhood experience has] made him miss his mom very much," a source reportedly told Us Weekly. "He wishes she could see his beautiful baby girl."
Now, West has made it clear that he would be protective of his new family. According to reports, the 36-year-old rapper recently ordered two custom made armored vehicles from Latvia's Dartz Motorz Company, according to the automobile blog Jalopnik. West reportedly ordered the vehicles called the Prombron Iron Diamond, which each cost him $1 million.
While West reportedly spoke about wanting his daughter to have a normal upbringing, he has been vocal about his thoughts on fatherhood in a previous interview with The New York Times.
"One of the things ... just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother," West said in the interview before welcoming his child into the world. "As simple as that."
