Kardashian Boutique Protested by Swim Suit Models; Khloe Kardashian Fires Back

The Kardashian family was the focus of an anti-fur protest that took place outside of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney's DASH boutique and garnered over 100,000 signatures in support. However, Khloe took to her Twitter account to defend the boutique and her family in the eyes of animal lovers.

The protest was sparked by swimsuit models Joanna Krupa and Katie Cleary on Monday and gained 140,000 signatures. However, the pair was not able to present the signatures to the Kardashians, who had decided to take a vacation to the Dominican Republic.

Still, Khloe tweeted that she and her sisters did not sell clothing items with fur.

"Kardashian Kollection &K-DASH are faux fur lines and has been since the moment we created them," she tweeted. "DASH has been fur free for a while now."

Still, Krupa and Cleary held signs that read "Keep up Kardashians fur is cruel not cool..140,000 Care2 members ask that you honor your promise to never sell fur" and "In support of a 'fur free' world" at the Kardashians' boutique location in Calabasas, Calif.

The two were supported by comedian Andy Dick, and held a book containing the signatures of those who opposed the Kardashians wearing clothing items with fur. Cleary and Krupa made plans to deliver the petition to Care2, an online social welfare community, and explained why they were motivated to conduct the high-profile protest.

"One of the most influential families in the entertainment industry that could help give animals a voice on a large scale are the Kardashians," Krupa said in a press release. "As a fashion-forward family with their clothing line in stores all over the U.S., they have the power to influence millions of people around the world."

Although Khloe Kardashian has been vocal about supporting anti-fur campaigns in the past, she has since decided to stop supporting activists after her older sister Kim was attacked with flour by a PETA activist at an event recently.

However, Krupa had less sympathy for the attack on Kardashian.

"She got away easy with just flour," Krupa said in a Hollyscoop report. "The attacker is a hero."

Still, Khloe expressed more thoughts on the matter by tweeting about her decision not to wear fur and being judged by others.

"Personally I don't wear fur, that's my personal choice. I fought for our clothing lines to use faux fur only and my sisters agreed," the Kardashian sister tweeted. "People will make something out of nothing. Go on and make your opinions, judge away. I feel bad that I consume your life as much as I do."
