Kari Jobe Shares New Photo of Baby Bump on 1-Year Anniversary
For over a decade, singer-songwriter Kari Jobe has debuted worship music for a multitude of fans but now she is presenting a different kind of creation to the masses in the form of her bulging baby bump.
"Baby bump time," Jobe, 34, wrote in an Instagram photograph of her protruding midsection. "Little Carnes is showing a whole lot more so I thought you might wanna see, #selfie #notmyrealweddingring #fingersaretoofat #Englishsconesareyummy @codycarnes."
In July, the contemporary Christian singer announced that she and her singer-songwriter husband Cody Carnes were expecting their first child together.
"Adding a member to the band in February 2016!! #BabyCarnes" Jobe posted on Facebook in an image where the husband and wife were holding a mini guitar.
Jobe and Carnes wed on Nov. 21, 2014, and the pair recently released their wedding video for fans to witness in celebration of their one year anniversary.
"11.21.14. The day the waiting met the promise. I never dreamed life could be as adventurous as this first year of marriage has been," Carnes captioned a photograph of he and Jobe's wedding day on their anniversary. "And to think we're just getting started. I'm so happy to be married to this beautiful girl. We're inviting you to celebrate our anniversary with us by releasing our wedding video for the first time."
Jobe took to her own Instagram page to reflect on her wedding day one year after exchanging vows with Carnes.
"One year ago today I married my best friend," she wrote. "We want to celebrate with all of you by releasing our wedding highlights video."
Jobe has been transparent about her marriage since the day she became a wife last year. Even before sharing her wedding video highlights, she could not hold her excitement back from fans in a Facebook message written the day after she got married.
"I'm married!!! Yesterday was more than a dream, more than a reality--it was a taste of Heaven. I've decided that God loves weddings," she wrote on Facebook last year. "His presence was stronger than I've ever felt in my whole life. I'm so very thankful for those of you that were there with us--we experienced such a sweet time with you. Thank you for always celebrating and supporting what God is doing in my life--and now my husband @codycarnes. What a day. #Carnes2014."
Aside from relishing in married life and preparing for her son, due in February, Jobe is also writing new music that fans can expect to hear next fall.
"I am pregnant, so that is also on my agenda. I am slowing things down for that," she recently told Digital Journal "It is exciting."
The "Majestic" singer who leads worship at Gateway Church previously spoke to The Christian Post about how honored she is to be able to create worship music that people can be inspired by.
"It's one thing to really dream and do what you're called to do and it's another when people to say 'we recognize the gift on your life and we honor what God's saying to you and we want to hear what you're singing,'" she told The Christian Post in a previous interview. "It's a huge honor!"
