Karrueche Tran Talks Dying for Love

Karrueche Tran may be willing to die for love.

Tran, the 26-year-old model who became popular while dating singer Chris Brown, 25, took to her Instagram to post some lyrics to singer Jhene Aiko's "To Love And Die."

"Cuz where I'm from We live for the love Die for the love," she captioned a picture where she seemed to be enjoying time on the beach.

Tran's statement comes days after she gained some attention for seemingly debating her boyfriend about love and loyalty. Brown began what seemed to be a debate by questioning the heart in a few cryptic tweets.

"If the opportunity presents itself..They will take it and run. Loyalty is everything," Brown tweeted. "What's more important? Your status or your heart? Ask yourself."

Tran had a few questions of her own, joining in the conversation on her own Twitter page.

"What's more important," she questioned in a tweet. "Loyalty or your desires?"

While Brown later deleted his tweets, Tran kept hers up. It is unclear what sparked the exchange between the pair, who has publicly hashed things out on social media in the past.

Last year Tran said she believed a lot of people would never understand the dynamic between her and Brown.

"It's different and it's something that a lot of people won't and will never understand, which is why I get so much flack and so much hate because looking from the outside in it looks messy," Tran admitted to Global Grind. "Nobody knows the real story and nobody knows what I went through."

Now, she is guarded when sharing her love life publicly.

"Sometimes I hold back from tweeting certain things," Tran previously told Global Grind. "Sometimes you're emotional and you want to tweet a lyric or whatever it may be, sometimes I can't do that because if I do it's, 'Oh this means this and that and she must be going through this.'"
