Kate Middleton Baby Bump Shopping Spree: $50 Maternity Clothes?
Ahead of her July due date, Kate Middleton's baby bump continues to grow creating the perfect excuse for a shopping trip and some new clothes.
The Duchess was spotted shopping earlier on in the week, scraping the racks for maternity wear. Middleton has been spotted a few times in the past month trying to pick out new clothes for her growing baby bump. But despite her royal status, it appears that Middleton is keen to stay on budget.
In the middle of March Middleton was spotted purchasing a $55 dress from LoveStruck, according to Us Weekly.
"It's so exciting that the Duchess of Cambridge bought one of my designs," Lovestruck designer Erika Shaw told Us. "I think it's great that Kate wears high street brands."
More recently the Duchess was seen shopping at TopShop; the London shop also sells a variety of affordable dresses, although some can break $100. Middleton made the shopping trip alone with the exception of her two security guards who followed along in plain clothing, according to Us.
Some reports have suggested that Prince William and the Duchess have already decided on a baby name. The baby's name will be Elizabeth Diana Carole, according to Lainey Gossip, in honor of William's grandmother, the Queen, Will's late mother, Diana and Kate's mom, Carole. The royal family, however, has not officially announced the name.
Fans of the Duchess have been generous with sending presents to the expecting mother. Buckingham Palace was "laden with baby gifts" from "overzealous fans" according to a press release from the PR Newswire.
