New York Fashion Week attendees took a cue from the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton on Monday as many famous faces watched the Jenny Packham fashion show.

Middleton wore one of Packham’s shimmering and slinky gowns to the ARK gala earlier this summer.

Many of the Jenny Packham designs modeled at the New York Fashion Week show were reminiscent of Kate’s style, featuring high collars, plunging V-necklines as well as a varied color scheme of blush and blue pastels and sunset reds and oranges, the Daily Mail details.

“Spring Summer 2012 is inspired by gleaming skies of opal whites and azure blues, painted with lavish glittering brush strokes and arresting vivid rainbow hues of geranium reds, sunset oranges, lemon-drop yellows and citrus limes, ending with dazzling encrusted Swarovski crystals in radiant gold,” Packham said in her notes about the collection.

Middleton has been seen in Jenny Packham designs three times during the summer.

In addition to the glittering pastel purple gown worn at the ARK gala in June, Kate also wore in July, a flowing canary yellow dress during the Royal tour of Canada and a floral accented, grey dress during the Royal tour of the U.S.

While she was not the designer of Middleton’s wedding dress, Packham was regularly mentioned as speculation rose in the months, weeks and days preceding the Duchess’ April 29 wedding to Prince William.

Many speculate that Middleton will soon be seen in these new designs from Packham’s latest collection.

Packham has also dressed such A-list celebrities as Sandra Bullock, Vanessa Hudgens, Angelina Jolie, Emma Roberts and Ashley Tisdale.
