Kate Middleton Diet Revealed: Duchess Eating to Keep Healthy, Glowing Skin
Duchess Kate Middleton is known for her good looks and figure, but now the secrets of how she keeps up appearances have been revealed. The Duchess keeps to a specific diet and works out whenever possible, given that she has royal duties and two princes to attend to.
According to Daily Mail, Middleton eats a strict diet of raw foods and is careful about how many calories she consumes. Her diet is meant not only to help her keep her figure and glowing skin but also to give her energy necessary when handling an 11-month-old son and performing royal duties. One of the other benefits, whether intended or not, is a fertility boost, and there is always talk of Middleton and her husband adding to their family.
"Kate already has the perfect figure but her motivation is to achieve radiant skin," a good friend told the publication.
Some of the Duchess' favorite foods include watermelon salads, goji berries, gazpacho, and ceviche. The Daily Mail reported that Middleton does at least one day on raw food only but tries to include raw foods during the rest of the week. She also enjoys working out and staying active, just like her sister Pippa. During school, she played hockey and netball.
The Duchess' style is often imitated and has been a huge boost for European designers who long to get their names known. And she is not alone – the clothes Prince George wears regularly sell out as soon as he is photographed in them. For example, the red striped overalls he wore this week at a polo event immediately sold out, as have other clothes that he's worn, such as sweaters and rompers.
The royal family has been busy with more and more royal duties ever since returning from Australia and New Zealand. Next month will be a milestone for the family, as Prince George turns 1 year old. There are bound to be several national and private events marking the occasion.
