Kate Middleton Hair Stirs Reactions

Kate Middleton has offered her own take on her haircut after many people have sounded off on the Duchess' new bangs this week.

The Duchess of Cambridge's new look was spotted at both the opening of the Treasures at the Natural History Museum in London on Tuesday and during her visit to the city of Cambridge on Wednesday.

Onlookers noticed a change in the world-famous brunette's appearance as the royal added shorter layers of hair that now frame her face.

Middleton, clad in a MaxMara Belli overcoat and brown suede Aquatalia boots, was visibly nervous dealing with the wind during her visit to Cambridge, reported Daily Mail, and even admitted that she was uncertain of her new haircut.

"I told her I loved her new hair style," said Joanne Baldwin, an onlooker, speaking to the Mail. "She said, 'I'm not sure about it. It's a bit windy today.' I said, 'Don't worry, it looks lovely.'"

Her husband, Prince William, joined the Duchess during the appearance. The 30-year-olds were greeted by hundreds of well wishers who they posed with in pictures.

One fan offered Prince William a very special gift during their brief exchange- a baby's onesie decorated with a helicopter and the slogan "Daddy's little pilot," reported People magazine.

The gift was from Samantha Hill who explained, "I made it for when his little one comes along. He's a helicopter pilot, so his baby will think his daddy is cool."

Hill told the magazine that the Duke greatly appreciated her gift.

"When I gave it to him he said, 'I'll keep that,' and handed it to his aide," she said.

Wednesday marked the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first official royal visit to their namesake city.

It has been a busy week for the royals. Over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess visited Welsh rugby players and watched a match. Then, on Thursday, the Duchess is expected to visit her alma mater, St. Andrews University, in Scotland.

Meanwhile, the media continues to scrutinize over when the Duke and Duchess will add to their family, and pregnancy rumors constantly swirl.
