Kate Middleton Second Nursery Fuels Baby No. 2 Reports
Kate Middleton and Prince William are moving into their newly renovated Kensington Palace apartment and reports claiming the home features two separate nurseries have fueled speculation that the couple is trying for a second child.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reportedly remodeled the four-story 20-room apartment to include a second nursery in addition to the one made for their newborn son, George Alexander Louis. While critics believe the second nursery is a sign that the royal couple is in fact trying to conceive, a source claims one of them is simply a day nursery while the other is a night nursery.
"The day nursery will become a play room as he grows up," a palace insider told Us magazine.
On July 22 Middleton and William, both 31, welcomed the birth of their first child in London and reports claim the pair is already eager to expand their brood. The couple reportedly spent in excess of $1 million on renovations for their large family home which boasts five reception rooms, three main bedrooms, dressing rooms and bathrooms, staff bedrooms and "ancillary rooms," according to The Express.
"They'd love to be pregnant again by the end of the year. They want a brother or sister for George," a source revealed with another telling The Express "They can't wait [to move]. They are so looking forward to getting the place how they want it and being settled."
In recent weeks it was claimed that Middleton, who is adjusting well to motherhood, is hoping to get pregnant by Christmas. The Duke and Duchess are believed to be doing everything possible to make this dream a reality.
"William and Kate are very keen to start trying for baby No. 2. They'd be thrilled if Kate were pregnant by Christmas," a source told Life & Style magazine.
"William and Kate will be splitting their time during the holidays with Kate's family and the queen in Sandringham House in Norfolk, so it would be the perfect moment for an announcement," the source explained.
