The Duchess of Cambridge, 31, was reportedly horrified after photos taken at a Poppy Appeal event emerged online and she immediately made an appointment with the exclusive Rossano Ferretti hair spa in central London. A simple haircut with Ferretti can reportedly cost upwards of $1000 and Middleton is believed to have spent at least six hours at the luxury salon getting cut, colored and blow-dried among other things.

"She looked amazing," an eyewitness told MailOnline after observing Middleton exit the salon at 6pm.

"She was dressed in a tartan cape and was made up. Her hair looked fabulous, really big and glossy, and it was flowing around her shoulders," the source revealed.

Middleton reportedly arrived in a private vehicle and was escorted to the VIP club suite on the third floor where the best-of-the-best in hair color technicians tended to her mane.

"It is the most luxurious place I have ever worked," said a member of staff. "The client has their own suite and it's incredibly private."

The Duchess, who gave birth to Prince George Alexander Louis in July, debuted her new look at the SportsBall annual charity gala dinner in London on Nov. 29. As expected, onlookers were wowed by her appearance.

The hair report comes one month after it was claimed that Middleton is undergoing a post-baby makeover after enlisting the help of interior designer Emilia Jardine- Paterson.

Jardine-Paterson, who has been friends with Middleton since they were 13, has been helping recreate and style the new mom's wardrobe. She is reportedly also assisting Middleton and Prince William, 31, with the design of their Kensington Palace home, according to Grazia Daily.

"Kate admires Emilia's style. Emilia has become increasingly important to her and Kate always uses her as a sounding board," a source told Grazia.

"Emilia is trying to move Kate away from the Middleton neutral palate and push her towards color or pattern," the source revealed. "Emilia loves vintage and tries to get Kate to be a bit more quirky. When they were at school she used to tease Kate about her prim Jigsaw shirts and hated those fur gilets Kate wore."
