Kate Middleton Yellow Roksanda Ilincić Dress Creates Buzz in Australia; Prince William Likens it to 'Banana' (VIDEO)
Kate Middleton recently wowed onlookers upon arriving to Australia and as fans scramble to get their hands on the same yellow Roksanda Ilincić dress she wore, the Duchess revealed that Prince William jokingly likened it to a banana.
On Wednesday the royal couple, along with Prince George, arrived at Sydney's iconic Opera House and while eight-month-old George immediately stole the spotlight, Middleton's bright colored dress was also a hit. The Duchess, 32, paid homage to Roksanda Ilincić by wearing an elegant look created by the London-based Serbian designer and she shared William's thoughts on her attire while greeting well wishers.
"William said I look like a banana," Middleton told well wisher Heather Easton, who was amongst the large crowd.

The Ryedale wool-crepe dress is from the designer's S/S 2014 collection and reportedly retails for just over $1,500. It features three-quarter length sleeves and white panels at the hem and under the arms which prompted William's comparison.
The dress was paired with Middleton's trademark nude pumps and diamond earrings. It proved a hit amongst onlookers who were in awe of her sophisticated look and many observed the color similarity to that of Queen Elizabeth II who wore a similar shade during her arrival into Sydney 60 years prior.
Middleton and William were greeted with a a line of waiting dignitaries, including the Australian prime minister Tony Abbott, as they made their way out of the aircraft.
Baby George, who was dressed in an adorable short-sleeved white jumpsuit, appeared unfazed by his surroundings. He did however crack a smile later in the day when he was gifted with a giant stuffed wombat gift from the Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove at Admiralty House.
The Duke and Duchess were officially welcomed at a reception at the Sydney Opera House and on Thursday they head to Winmalee in the Blue Mountains. There they will visit victims of last year's bushfires before heading to the suburb's Girl Guides hall to meet with members of the local community.
Their arrival in Sydney marked day 10 of their three-week Antipodean tour. They are scheduled to fulfill a total of 48 engagements around Australia and New Zealand.
