Kate Middleton's Stripper Cousin Does Playboy, Worsens Strained Relationship With Queen?
Catherine (Kate) Middleton's second cousin will be on the cover of the September issue of Playboy magazine, it has been revealed.
Katrina Darling, a 21-year-old exotic dancer, will pose nude for the sleazy men's magazine and critics fear that her antics could further jeopardize the Duchess' already fragile relationship with the Queen.
Middleton, 30, recently faced "humiliation" by Queen Elizabeth II in a newly released revision to the Royal Household's Order of Precedence, according to Life & Style Magazine.
The Duchess, who has become a global sensation and fashion icon since marrying Prince William in 2011, is now required to curtsy to Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's two daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.
When Prince William is not around she must curtsy to both ladies, who are considered to be blood princesses, as well as the other blue-blooded princesses, including Princess Anne and Princess Alexandra, who is the Queen's cousin.
"It's a total humiliation for Kate. It's like a demotion for her, and the queen is the one who ordered this," a source in Kate and William's social circle told Life & Style.
"These queen's moves are designed to remind Kate that just because she's popular, she isn't as important as any other royal-born family member," the friend added.
Some critics now question whether the Queen dislikes Middleton and fear that any unwanted publicity, such as Darling's latest gig, that is brought upon the royals because of Middleton could add tension to their already strained relationship.
Darling was reportedly unaware of her relation to Middleton until she was informed by the British media.
She reportedly quit her job in banking earlier this year to become a burlesque dancer full-time and is renowned for her "God Save the Queen" routine, during which she strips while wearing a crown and clothes which reflect colors of the British flag.
