Katherine Heigl 'Thrilled' to Return to TV Amidst Rumors of Being 'Difficult'
Katherine Heigl said that she is "thrilled" to be returning to television just as reports indicated that the actress was difficult to work with this week.
Just days before reports arose over the actress' "bad" attitude, Heigl opened up about joining NBC's new CIA drama.
"I have been passionate about it, and enthralled by, this project from the moment Hank, Rodney and Bob brought it to me over a year ago," she said, according to a statement posted to her website on Sept. 9.

The 34-year-old star famously departed ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" in 2010 to focus on movies as well as her family, but is now returning to television with the yet-to-be-titled CIA show.
Furthermore, Heigl said she is "thrilled and honored" to be included on the "compelling and intelligent" television series.
Meanwhile, some alleged Hollywood insiders recently slammed Heigl, claiming her career slow down was the result of a persnickety attitude.
"She can cost you time every single day of shooting," said one source who had worked on the set of "Life As We Know It" alongside Heigl while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter. "Wardrobe issues, not getting out of the trailer, questioning the script every single day."
The insider went on to explain that Heigl was no stranger to using expletives when something went wrong, as it often seemed to do.
"It's about the mouth, 'F--- you. You are a f------ liar,' whatever you'd say, you were an idiot," the anonymous source elucidated. "The call would be, 'This is the worst craft service we've ever had! There's nothing to eat! This is the worst wardrobe!' You knew that every day, you were going to get slammed."
"The frustrating part is [Heigl] is incredibly talented and smart," the source added.
Another unnamed television executive admitted that Heigl was passed up for a role on a new pilot series because of her reputation.
"On many levels, she would have been perfect for the role," the exec told THR, asking not to be identified. "But all of us said, 'She's not worth it.'"
But not everyone in the industry agrees. Director of "Life As We Know It" Greg Berlanti said that he would be willing to work with Heigl again in "in a heartbeat."
"She's an amazing actress, and her in a TV show- that's a great idea and, well executed, would be something I would watch and would feel lucky to work on myself," he said.
