Katie Holmes On-Screen Romance Sparks Rumors

Katie Holmes is rumored to be dating her "Mania Days!" co-star Luke Kirby after filming romantic scenes for the movie this week.

The 34-year-old actress has been single ever since the end of her six-year marriage to Tom Cruise last year.

Despite filling her busy schedule with acting engagements and raising daughter Suri in New York City, Holmes is reportedly dating again.

Holmes and her co-worker Kirby are taking their onscreen romance to real life, and the actress is "giggling all the time," according to reports last week.

"She's smiling all the time, very flirty," said an insider at Daily News. "[Kirby] seems to be very into her."

In "Mania Days," Holmes and Kirby portray two manic-depressives who fall in love after meeting at a psychiatric hospital. The dramatic romance also stars Christine Lahti and Griffin Dunne, and while it has not received a release date yet, the film is expected sometime in 2014.

Meanwhile, past reports have indicated that Holmes is not interested in dating fellow actors.

"Katie doesn't want to tie herself down just yet, but she says she's done going out with actors," said an insider speaking to RadarOnline.com.

"Her previous relationships with Joshua [Jackson] and Chris [Klein] and Tom [Cruise] didn't work out, so she thinks she should look away from her own profession," explained the source.

Regardless of her personal life, Holmes remains busy with Holmes & Yang, the fashion line established in 2009 with her stylist Jeanne Yang.

Yang is reportedly helping introduce Holmes to potential love interests, reported Radar.

"Jeanne … has taken Katie to some art gallery openings recently and she's met tons of interesting artists," the insider added. "She's been saying now that if she does date anyone, it could be someone who works in the arts world."
