Katy Perry and John Mayer are NOT dating again

There have been rumors circulating that Katy Perry and John Mayer are back together.

The couple were last seen together in July, after a series of on-and-off-again instances. However, Perry and Mayer were seen holding hands during Allison William and Ricky Van Veen's wedding in Wyoming, despite arriving in separate jets.
They were seen displaying public affection during the ceremony. According to People magazine, a source shared, "John and Katy looked happy. They held hands and sat next to each other during the wedding ceremony."

However, another article from People Magazine revealed that they are actually not back together. Another source stated, "They had both agreed to attend the wedding because they are dear friends with the bride and groom, but they are not back together. It was an emotional wedding, and they held hands but only because they will always care about each other."

It was also added that the two are mature exes that are able to be kind and caring for each other. It was said that they were happy to see each other at the wedding as it gave them time to spend together. The report shared that they are currently dating other people.

Perry and Mayer have been in an on-and-off relationship ever since 2012. They were seen earlier this year at Chateau Marmont with Allison and Ricky. However, there are rumors stating that they had broken up after spending July 4 together.

There are speculations that Perry will be coming out with a new song this winter. It was reported that a new entry was made on Warner's music publishing website that revealed a new song called "Every Day Is a Holiday." The track had Perry listed as one of its writings, including Sarah Hudson, Duke Dumont, and Hal Ritson.
