Katy Perry, John Mayer Song: Duet Set for Release?
Katy Perry and John Mayer reportedly recorded a duet together, amid claims suggesting they recently reconciled.
The pop singer, who is currently working on her fourth studio album, is believed to have recorded the song in recent months and sources claim it may appear on Mayer's upcoming album, "Paradise Valley," which is due for release on Aug. 13, according to The Ralphie Radio Show.
The pair, who has dated on-and-off for one year, recently made their first public appearance together since splitting up in March at the Friar's Foundation event for actor Don Rickles. On-lookers claim that they appear to have reconciled.

"They were so lovey-dovey and all over each other," an onlooker told Life & Style magazine. "They were kissing in front of everyone and couldn't stop touching one another."
Perry, 28, who was once married to British comedian, Russell Brand, spoke candidly about her relationship with Mayer, 35, during a recent interview with Vogue magazine. The "Hot N Cold" singer professed her love for the troubled singer despite their most recent split.
"I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind," Perry recently told the July issue of Vogue regarding Mayer.
"Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds," she added.
In a post break-up interview with renowned talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Mayer revealed that he was "happier" after splitting up with Perry. When asked if his split from Perry was permanent, the Grammy award-winning singer replied, "correct."
"I'm on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing ... Listen, it was a very private relationship going in. It was a private relationship during and it's a private relationship, still," Mayer told DeGeneres.
"I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I have given but I have finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other," he continued. "I've been much happier since then. I want everyone to be happy."
Perry began dating Mayer in July 2012 and the singer reportedly helped her overcome the emotional challenges of her 2011 divorce from Brand. Both singers have not publicly explained what exactly prompted their split however fans suspect that they may finally open up about their relationship in their alleged duet.
