Katy Perry vs Taylor Swift Feud: Fight Moves to Instagram as Perry Follows 'Slutty Taylor Swift' Account
Things were quiet between the two hit makers until the "Roar" singer Katy Perry reignited the alleged feud after she recently followed one Instagram account called @sluttytaylorswift.
According to Buzzfeed, the person behind the account is allegedly a friend of Perry named Dinah Rankin. Instead of putting photos of the "Bad Blood" singer, Rankin only posted in the account some of her own selfies, modelling gigs and her day to day life activities. But she did use Swift's face as her profile picture.
Moreover, she also shared a photo of Left Shark from Perry's Super Bowl Halftime performance last February, most likely implicating that Rankin is more of a Katy fan rather than a Swiftie. It looked like the "California Girl" is just returning the favor by simply following the user, according to Inquisitr.
Contrary to popular belief, the alleged feud didn't start because of John Mayer ,who was linked to Swift and later on went into a relationship with Perry and even made a song with her. According to a 2014 interview with "Rolling Stone", Perry insisted that the squabble wasn't even about a guy.
"It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me," she said.
That very moment sparked an inspiration to Taylor and wrote the song "Bad Blood", and even asked her friends to be featured in a music video about their feud. She also addressed her fight with Perry during her interview with Vanity Fair wherein she discreetly talked about how hurt she was over the torn friendship.
