"This is the perfect bullying example.. I have black hair, so now I'm a girl in a random video with black hair," she questioned on Twitter. "Now I'm the subject to be attacked because I'm known and successful? You people can be so simple."

The entertainer continued to question why people were linking her to the rapper's inappropriate video.

"I am a victim because I took a picture with a fan? Should I just not take pictures with fans that have less than positive connotations," she questioned. "You can spread lies but know who you spreading lies about. People don't deserve that, I'm living my life like you, but it's okay to swarm my mentions with distasteful comments."

She went on to let it be known that people were silly to compare her to another woman just because of her hairstyle.

"A million females in the world with black hair, but it's Keke Palmer," Palmer tweeted. "Talk about REACHING. The weave is not even real hair #stopit."

Palmer, a Christian, has previously opened up about her religious upbringing.

"My father's a Deacon, my mother's a choir director so I grew up in the church, and singing in the choir, begging my mom if I could have a solo," she told Good Day Atlanta in 2012. "That's all very close to home for me."

The actress has not shied away speaking about her definition of faith.

"Real faith is when you believe in something that you can't see. When things are going really bad and you can still get up and say I believe that they're gonna get better, that there's a higher lesson to what I'm going through," Palmer shared with Good Day Atlanta. "It can be hard sometimes and to turn it around like that, that's true faith."
