Kelly Clarkson Pregnant? Singer 'Trying' (VIDEO)
Newlywed Kelly Clarkson admitted that she wants to expand her family "now" in a recent interview, but that she has no baby news just yet.
The 31-year-old singer appeared on "The Jay Leno Show" this week when the show's host asked about her husband, Brandon Blackstock, and their future.
"The rumor is you want to have a baby like right away," said Leno.
"Like now," Clarkson interrupted, laughing. "Practice makes perfect. We do, we are trying, trying, trying."
"Are you pregnant now," Leno bluntly asked.
"We are not announcing anything right now," the singer nervously replied. "We're not, no."
Clarkson quickly added, "We are trying, like rabbits."

It comes as no surprise that Clarkson is anxious for a baby. The "Stronger" singer revealed that becoming a step mother to Blackstock's two children from a previous marriage has been "amazing" and that she loves kids now more than ever.
"Brandon has two kids and I never wanted kids before, but now I want like five," she told Leno.
Meanwhile, Clarkson's decision to elope and her marriage to Blackstock last month sparked rumors of a pregnancy. However, the singer denied the gossip.
"FYI… Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant, Clarkson posted to Twitter ahead of her Oct. 20 nuptials. "We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony."
The couple tied the knot in Tennessee at Blackberry Farms, "the most beautiful place on earth," Clarkson announced on Twitter.
"I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock," Clarkson tweeted one day after the wedding. The bride wore a lace Temperley London gown during the event, which saw only three guests.
The "Don't You Want To Stay" singer began dating Blackstock last year, and the pair became engaged on Dec. 14. He is the stepson of singer Reba McEntire through her marriage to Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock.
