Kelly Clarkson Talks About New Album 'Stronger'
Kelly Clarkson has spoken about her now 10 year career and the upcoming release of her new album, Stronger, in a USA Today interview.
Clarkson went through her entire career and talked about past failures and successes all the while putting the perspective of being a celebrity in check.
"Celebrity is weird," Clarkson said. "I have no controversy. You don't see me in rehab, or you don't see me coming out with my hey-haw showing. There's not much to report. So when anything little is reported, it's like 'Oh, my God, she wasn't wearing makeup!'”

Clarkson says the music business is a constant struggle, especially when making records.
"I really fought hard on that first album (2003's Thankful), and I've fought the same on every single one of them," referring to her musical input on studio albums.
She says now her producers and team know exactly how she works and what to expect from her.
When Clarkson was asked if she had any regrets in her musical career she said, "I don't have regrets. But if I were to tell myself or write myself a letter, it would be: Really make sure you're surrounding yourself with good people. Because I love music, but I am way more about: We have one life and I want to have good character, I want to be around people with good character who have good motives."
A low moment came for Clarkson with the release of song, "Already Gone," from her last album. The song written by Ryan Tedder of OnceRepublic sounded just like "Halo" by Beyonce. Both songs were written by Tedder, with Beyonce's coming out first.
She told USA Today, "I think the thing that hurt me the most is that he just flat-out said, 'Oh, no, they're completely different.' And I'm like, 'Wow, well there's a bunch of mashups being played on the radio and on YouTube that would say otherwise. And millions of people are saying otherwise’.”
The singer states she was really hurt by the whole ordeal and it was just a "bummer" to fall flat after being so excited for the album.
Clarkson has released her first single for Stronger, "Mr. Know It All."
The track is No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has already sold 328,000 downloads.
