Kelly Rowland Engaged to Tim Witherspoon; Singer Reveals Manager Proposed Via Skype (VIDEO)

Kelly Rowland recently confirmed her engagement to her manager Tim Witherspoon during an appearance on "The Queen Latifah Show."

The "Dirty Laundry" singer, 32, fueled speculation in November when she flashed her diamond sparkler in a personalized Instagram video. In her recent interview, which is set to air on Wednesday, Rowland finally confirmed that Witherspoon proposed some time ago.

"He put a ring on it," Rowland told Queen Latifah according to E! News. "It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low—for years, to be completely honest."

Rowland, who is among singer Beyonce's closest friends, was in Bulgaria when Witherspoon asked for her hand in marriage. They were enjoying a chat via Skype when he popped the question.

"He asked me first on Skype and I was like, 'We're so far away from each other,'" she revealed. "There's nothing like getting engaged in Bulgaria. It's the happiest thing that happened in Bulgaria that day," Latifah said in a Slavic accent.

"Exactly," Rowland replied. "But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other. And he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, 'I got my best friend to ride through life with.' He really is my best friend."

The Destiny's Child singer has reportedly been dating Witherspoon on-and-off for four years. The pair is often photographed spending time together.

In September reports claimed the private couple had secretly wed, but Rowland was quick to shut down the rumors. She opened up about her desire to settle down.

"I don't know. Too busy with the career," Rowland told E!'s Terrence Jenkins in September about why she is not yet married with kids. "I do want kids, I do want to be married. But, I want one kid."
