Kendall Jenner is the New Face of Estee Lauder
Kendall Jenner continues to soar to new heights in her modeling career as the 19-year-old has been recently named as the new face of luxury beauty brand Estee Lauder. Kendall made the announcement on Nov. 14 via her Instagram where she has more than 15.7 million followers.
"I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!" she captioned a picture of herself from a recent Vogue shoot.
"Kendall is a modern beauty who represents a whole new generation of women who live, breathe, and share beauty, fashion, and life 24/7, on their own terms, in a visually compelling way," said the company's global brand president Jane Hertzmark Hudis. "She is the ultimate instagirl, and we are excited to leverage her image, voice, energy, and extraordinary social media power to introduce Estee Lauder to millions of young women around the world."

To celebrate their new model, the prestigious cosmetics company released a video which contains footage of Kendall as a child talking to her mother Kris Jenner.
"The first time that I wore makeup, I was a little girl and my mom was filming me," said Kendall in the video. "And I'm like, 'Mom, I did my makeup, do you like it?'"
The news comes a few months after Kendall walked the runways for Diane Von Furstenberg, Sonia Rykiel, Tommy Hilfiger, Givenchy, Chanel, and Dolce and Gabbana during Fashion Week in Milan, Paris, and New York.
According to Hollywood Life, Kendall learned about the good news through text while backstage at the Sonia Rykiel show and she had to keep it a secret until now. Her first campaign will be shot by Mikael Jansson and the ad will feature her along with brand ambassadors Joan Smalls and Carolyn Murphy.
Along with Smalls and Murphy, Kendall joins the ranks of Elizabeth Hurley, Paulina Porizkova, and Gwyneth Paltrow, who have been the face of the cosmetic line.
"I feel like I'm more honored to be part of something with such amazing names involved," said Kendall in the Estee Lauder video. "It's really something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly. It's crazy."
