Kendall Jenner Shows Support for Father After Separation Announcement
Bruce Jenner, the 63-year-old Olympic gold medalist who recently announced a separation from reality television star matriarch Kris Jenner, is receiving support from his daughter Kendall Jenner, 17.
Bruce and Kris, the 57-year-old manager and matriarch of the infamous Kardashian clan that appears on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," announced their split after 22 years of marriage recently.
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the Jenners said in a joint statement to E! News. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
The Jenners have two daughters together, Kendall and Kylie, 16. The former seems to be expressing support for her father on Instagram where she posted an image of herself wearing a button that states, "I Know BRUCE JENNER Personally."
Still, Kendall's parents insist that their family is intact despite the announcement of their separation.
"I'm doing great. Kris is happy, I'm happy. Nobody is filing for divorce," Bruce told People. "Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There's no animosity. Everything is good."
Kris also echoed Bruce's sentiments.
"We're actually really good. Bruce and I are best friends and we actually have a lot of mutual love and respect for one another," Jenner told Entertainment Tonight recently. "… So I think that when you read into a lot of the rubbish that's being printed and on the internet and on the tabloids it's just crap. Nobody knows what's going on except Bruce or [myself] but we're just fabulous."
Bruce let it be known that he is not interested in dating, but only in focusing on his family.
"No! We're not going there. I have my family, I have my kids," Jenner told People magazine recently. "All my time is filled."
