Kendall Jenner Slammed on Twitter After Billboards Flub (VIDEO)

Kendall Jenner was left red-faced while presenting at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

The model, who is the younger sister of famed reality TV star Kim Kardashian, took to the stage to introduce Australian boy-band 5 Seconds of Summer but completely butchered the introduction. Jenner appeared to almost accidentally call the band, who performed their hit "She Looks So Perfect," One Direction before bursting into nervous laughter.

"The band about to rock the Billboard Awards comes from Down Under, but the direction they are heading is straight up. Recently, they made their debut on the Billboard 200 at number two," she began before going on the fumble her words.

"This summer - and now we welcome. Guys, I'm the worst reader. Um … They're only getting bigger! Take a look," she mumbled.

The reality TV star's flub prompted the hash tag #kendallyouhadonejob to begin trending on Twitter and she eventually tried to explain the embarrassing moment.

"Anndddd as if I wasn't nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned," she tweeted.

Even after the tweet, critics proceeded to criticize the E! star for her blunder on social networking site Twitter.

"What's sad is my 7 year old daughter could read better than her. Keep working the catwalk and marry rich. #kendallyouhadonejob," one user wrote.

"Advice for the kids: Reading is fundamental. Good looks will eventually fade away, but stupid is forever. #kendallyouhadonejob," another wrote.

"If you ever feel stupid just remember that Kendall Jenner can't tell the difference between one and five. #kendallyouhadonejob," one tweet read.

Jenner will get the chance to redeem herself and showcase her presenting skills in Canada next month when she and her younger sister Kylie co-host the Much Music Awards.

"So excited!!! We're co-hosting the MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS in Canada on June 15 on #Much!! #MMVAs @MuchMusic," Jenner tweeted on Friday.
