Kendall Jenner Instagram Photo Incident, Fashion Week Success - Not Due to Kardashians Fame
Kendall Jenner has been participating in some of the most high-profile fashion shows on runways both international and domestic recently, but reports are claiming that her accolades have nothing to do with her famous Kardashian family.
Jenner, the 18-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" sibling turned runway model, may have sisters who are stalked by paparazzi but sources told FOX411 that her stint on television does not translate to fame on the runway.
"Kendall was unrecognizable. No one backstage knew who she was," an insider told FOX411. "The photographers and backstage press ignored her."
After walking for Marc Jacobs in New York's Fashion Week and Karl Lagerfeld in Paris' most recent Fashion Week, the insider insists that Jenner is able to do so purely because of her modeling talents, not her famous family.
"I don't know if she walked the (New York) show on her own merits or because of who her family is, but if she got this on her own, that's something to be proud of," the insider told FOX411.
Jenner recently spoke to People about her thoughts before participating in some high profile fashion shows.
"I thought I was going to be very, very, very nervous to the point where I felt like I was going to throw up, but I wasn't," she explained. "I was really comfortable."
Despite her comfort level, Instagram removed Jenner's Marc Jacobs outfit image from the photograph sharing website.
"The photo violated Instagram's guidelines that include a limitation on nudity," Instagram representatives told E! News.
Kim Kardashian, Jenner's 33-year-old sister who proudly posted the image on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, reacted to the news.
"Ughhhh can Instagram just delete your photos," Kardashian questioned. "Maybe @KendallJenner was too hot for instgram!!!"
Kim and Khloe Kardashian both initially posted photographs of their 18-year-old little sister's top half fully exposed without an undergarment on the Marc Jacobs runway during New York Fashion Week.
"Proudest sister ever!!!! @kendalljenner," Kim captioned an Instagram image that she shared with fans amid backlash. "I love watching you live your dream!"
