Kenya Moore Evicted? 'Housewives' Star Claims Ruling Will Be 'Overturned' (VIDEO)
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore recently responded to reports claiming she was evicted from her Georgia home.
On June 4 reports claimed that Moore, 42, was facing eviction after her landlord accused her of failing to make the full $3999 rental payment for the month of May. Moore was reportedly $848 short in her monthly payment, subsequently making her in breach of the terms and conditions of the lease.
On Tuesday a Fulton County court judge reportedly ruled in favor of Moore's landlord, Conya Dillon, which authorized the eviction of Moore from her six-bedroom, six-bathroom Roswell home. The reality TV star dismissed the ruling in an interview with talk show host Wendy Williams.

"First of all, we never got notice of court date, so that's going to be overturned and we will have another court date...It isn't over until the fat lady sings," a defiant Moore told Williams.
"Secondly, this is absolutely absurd. I've paid this woman nearly $52,000 in rent and she has a $6,000 security deposit of mine. I have paid her May rent and paid her June, and my lease is up in three weeks. So this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous," she explained.
Moore went on to suggest that Dillon's eviction proceedings may have stemmed from jealousy and she explained her theory on Williams' show via telephone.
"I don't know if it's necessarily so personal, but the key is Wendy — now, it gets a little complicated — but she's taking her ex-husband back to court, and I can't help it if I live a fabulous life and she can no longer afford to be in the house," she said.
Dillon, who was reportedly furious over unwanted attention brought to the neighborhood by Moore, denied the former Miss USA's claims. The homeowner maintains that she did in fact try to resolve the matter in "every possible amicable way" however Moore allegedly did not cooperate.
"I am making this statement as a result of the eviction order and judgment made against my former tenant, Kenya Moore, on June 18, 2013 in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County," Dillon told RadarOnline.com.
"The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately," she continued. "I am grateful that the judicial system has brought finality to this eviction process and I look forward to regaining possession of my home."
