Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Trade Rumors: Under Armour Endorsement Bid to Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant is currently being fought over in an endorsement deal between Under Armour and Nike.
Durant's agency, Roc Nation Sports, told Nike of Under Armour's offer according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.com.
"Kevin Durant's representation, Roc Nation Sports, informed Nike on Wednesday that he has a deal on the table with Under Armour worth between $265 million and $285 million over 10 years," the report said.

"The deal includes Under Armour stock and other incentives such as a community center built in his mother's name whose exact worth will not be known for some time," the report adds.
If Nike wants Durant in the endorsement deal, they will have to outbid or match Under Armour's offer. Rovell provided more background details via his Twitter about the Durant endorsement situation and compared it with LeBron, who also makes huge money off-court through endorsements.
"Durant took $22M less to sign with Nike over adidas in his rookie year. If Nike doesn't match UA, he can still chose them," one tweet mentioned.
Another tweet then mentioned the comparison with LeBron.
"Durant wouldn't be the only NBA player to make more on shoe deal than on court. LeBron will likely make around $30M from Nike this season," the post read.
A quote from Durant via Slam Magazine's tweet states the primary reason why the Thunders superstar is deserving of an opportunity to earn big money off the court.
"KD: 'Honestly, I think I score better than anybody.' #2KUncensored," the tweet stated.
Durant has claimed the scoring title four times in only seven seasons and acquired his first NBA MVP award in the 2013-2014 season.
The only thing missing from this is a championship title which Durant will get with the Thunder or some other team if his contract expires before then. It won't matter which endorsement deal Durant chooses, he will still be one of the top earners in the NBA.
