Kevin Hart Cheating Scandal: Extortionist Explains Reason For Releasing Comedian's Cheating Video
Comedian Kevin Hart's present predicament is not something to laugh about.
On his Instagram account, the actor posted a public apology on Saturday, Sept. 16, that addressed his pregnant wife Eniko Parrish and his two children. Hart explained in his video that he is very sorry to his family for committing a lot of mistakes.
"I made a bad error in judgment and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did. And in doing that, I know that I'm going to hurt the people closest to me, who've I talked to and apologized to, that would be my wife and my kids," Hart stated.

Shortly after the video was posted, the "Get Hard" actor found himself in the middle of an extortion case after an anonymous tipster reportedly reached out to his team claiming to have possession of a video where the actor can be seen engaged in a sexually provocative situation with another woman. According to TMZ, the tipster was asking the actor to pay a multi-million dollar fee to keep the video from going public.
Another report from the publication revealed that the highly produced video showed an intimate encounter between an anonymous man and a woman, followed by a clip showing a naked man while putting his clothes back on in the same room where the couple was seen having sex. According to the report, the man in the video looks a lot like Hart.
The extortionist also revealed the reasons why he or she is releasing the videotape. The first one was to expose Hart's infidelity while the second one was to get money. It was also mentioned in the video that Hart was using the Texas Hurricane Relief Fund event that he spearheaded to cover up for his lying ways.
This is not the first time that the actor was involved in a cheating scandal. In July, Hart was photographed to be hanging out inside a car with an unknown woman outside a nightclub at the Miami Beach. However, he denied that he is cheating on his wife in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Hart's wife opted to maintain her silence regarding the controversy despite the stress that it was causing her. A source reportedly told E! News that the incident will not destroy her marriage.
"Eniko was really upset about this whole situation and still is every time it's brought up," the source stated. "At this moment she is not going to end their marriage. She is still very much in love with Kevin and is not ready to throw it all away."
