The parents-to-be have been married for four years. Kevin proposed to Danielle two years after they first met while on vacation in the Bahamas with their respective families in 2007.

Initially, the baby news was revealed on Danielle and Kevin's reality show "Married to Jonas" which airs on E!

Shortly after, Kevin revealed his reaction to hearing the news.

"I was overjoyed," the musician told E! News' Giuliana Rancic via Skype. "It's been the most exciting thing in my life so far."

However, the Jonas brother admitted to experiencing a thrill mixed with some fear.

"I'm excited and I'm nervous," said the singer.

Jonas' brothers Nick and Joseph also took to Twitter with excitement over their growing family.

"Can't wait to welcome the newest addition of the Jonas family," wrote 20-year-old Nick. "Congratulations to my bro @KevinJonas& @DanielleJonas"

"Can't explain how excited I am about this," added 23-year-old Joe. "I'm going to be an uncle! Congrats @KevinJonas & @DanielleJonas!"

Furthermore, Joe added a joking picture to Twitter of a false "first ultrasound" featuring a baby in utero drinking from a Starbucks cup.

"So pumped to be an uncle," the singer wrote in the caption. "@KevinJonas and @DanielleJonas first ultrasound."

Meanwhile, the brothers from Wyckoff, New Jersey have released four albums with an untitled fifth album on the way sometime later this year.

The Grammy Award-nominated group is well known for their hit songs "Pom Poms," "S.O.S," and "Lovebug," among many others.
