Khloe Anniversary Gift: Kardashian Praises Friends After Dropping Odom Marital Name
Khloe Kardashian shared a picture of a gift she received from friends on her fourth wedding anniversary amid reports of marital strain with Lamar Odom.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, 29, took to Instagram to share a picture of an engraved crystal that she received from friends while making no mention of Odom, 33. Kardashian's best friends, Malika and Khadijah Haqq, presented her with the heart-shaped crystal during what is undoubtedly a difficult time for the reality star.
"Khloe, Love You 4 Ever Malika and Khadijah," the engraved crystal read.
"I have the best friends in the world! @theeforevermalika@imforeverkhadijah," Kardashian wrote in the photocaption.
The E! star has dropped subtle hints of marital strain on social networking sites in recent weeks, perhaps the most telling being her decision to drop her marital name on Twitter on the eve of her and Odom's Sept. 27 fourth wedding anniversary. Kardashian reverted back to her maiden name on both Twitter and Instagram, fueling speculation that her marriage to Odom is under strain.
In July two women accused Odom of having extramarital affairs and weeks later drug addiction rumors surfaced. Kardashian and the NBA veteran, who are believed to be separated, are yet to publicly address recurring divorce reports.
"She's taking everything one day at a time and concentrating on herself. Everything with Lamar is very unclear," a source told People magazine.
Kardashian is believed to have spent her wedding anniversary with friends instead of Odom and reports claim the reality TV star's marital woes are being filmed for her family's hit reality TV show. The E! star still resides in the estranged couple's Tarzana, Calif., marital home while Odom is believed to be living in downtown Los Angeles.
"Of course they are filming the drama for the show," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Kris Jenner sees that people are reacting to it, so why not respond and deal with it the way they do."
