Khloe Kardashian Asks for Help to Save Cousin With Cancer

Khloe Kardashian-Odom, the 28-year-old reality television star, is petitioning people to join in the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry's annual Walk for Life! event, which could help save her cousin's life.

Kardashian-Odom took to Twitter to let over eight million followers know that her family needed their support. The reality television star provided a link to her Celebuzz blog, where she explained how participating in the May 4 event in Glendale, Calif. could help save lives, including her cousin's.

"Hi dolls, please support our family and fellow Armenians this Saturday for the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry's annual Walk for Life! We are dedicated to saving our cousin Cici's life and many others," Kardashian wrote on her personal blog. "Do your part to help make a difference not only as a donor but also as a supporter of the cause."

This is not the first time Kardashian-Odom has spoken about her cousin's dire situation. Earlier this year, the reality television star let the world know about her cousin's battle with cancer.

"This is difficult for me to write, but we really need your help. My cousin, Cici, has been battling cancer for 17 years," Kardashian wrote on her blog last February. "She's been going through chemo for such a long time, but now the cancer is not responding to the chemo and she needs a bone marrow stem cell transplant. This necessary procedure would hopefully give our Cici many more years to live!"

The reality television star petitioned her Armenian supporters to help the situation.

"What makes this more difficult is that the donor must be of Armenian descent because Cici is Armenian," Kardashian-Odom wrote on her blog previously. "We are asking every Armenian who reads this message to reach out to the bone marrow registry and sign up so that we can find a match for Cici."

Most recently, Kardashian-Odom let all of her Twitter followers know how important they were in fighting cancer.

"We need you support," Kardashian-Odom tweeted along with the link to information about the upcoming bone marrow walk.
