Khloe Kardashian Has Braces? (PHOTO)
Khloe Kardashian has become the latest high-profile adult to undergo a teeth-straightening procedure after she got invisaligns this week.
Although invasaligns are not the same as metallic braces, the clear plastic product still realigns teeth, all while being comfortable and removable.
"Thank you Dr. Sands for being the best dentist ever," the 28-year-old reality television star tweeted. "If only we could all be put to sleep like [husband Lamar Odom.]"
Alternately, Dr. Sands tweeted, "The beautiful @KhloeKardashian stopped by, always a pleasure to have her and Lamar visit," along with a photo with Kardashian.
The custom-made invisaligns are replaced every two weeks in order to gradually and gently shift teeth into place.
Meanwhile, Kardashian is not the only celebrity to get braces as an adult.
Country music superstar Faith Hill recently revealed the metal braces while attending the Grammy Awards earlier this year.
It was not the first time Hill had debuted the dental accessory. The "I Need You" singer opened up about the braces during a radio interview in November.
"They are about four months old," the singer told KNIX 102.5 at the time. "I'm getting used to them."
"I forgot to wear my retainer," Hill has explained as to why she needs the braces, according to USA Today. "Kids- wear your retainer."
Celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Gwen Stefani, and Nicolas Cage have also sported braces in recent years.
In addition to Kardashian's efforts to improve her smile with invisalign, the former "X-Factor" host is also trying to start a family with her NBA star husband Odom.
"I would love to have a baby," said the reality television star while speaking to Redbook. "But I'm 28, and I've been married three and a half years. I love my life, but it doesn't feel incomplete right now."
The "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami" star added that using hormone therapy to try and increase her chances of getting pregnant was difficult for her.
"I was taking hormone shots to stabilize them, and you have to take those shots consistently and they have to be done by a doctor- you can do them yourself, but I couldn't," she explained.
