Khloe Kardashian Not Pregnant Despite Father-in-Law's Claims

Khloe Kardashian is reportedly not pregnant despite her father-in-law suggesting that she and husband Lamar Odom are expecting their first child.

"I got a little news. I'm about ready to have a grandchild!" Joe Odom told RumorFix on Tuesday.

"I know he's excited," Joe said about his son Lamar. "They've been trying to do this for a couple of years. We're all excited!" he added.

While Khloe and Lamar have openly spoken about their desires to have children, friends quickly denied Joe's claims.

"[It's] absolutely not true!" a source told Radar Online

The news follows reports that Khloe, 27, suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in February which has reportedly added further strain to her rocky marriage to Lamar.

"She's trying to put on a brave face, but it's so hard," a friend of Khloe's told InTouch Magazine.

The couple has been married for close to three years and have endured a number of set-backs, including Lamar's NBA career which has crumbled in recent weeks, and Khloe's struggles to get pregnant.

"[Khloe's] scared that if she doesn't give Lamar a baby, then he'll leave her," the friend explained.

Lamar, a 13-year NBA veteran, abruptly left the Dallas Mavericks after being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers in December and posting some of the lowest stats of his career during the season.

The "Khloe & Lamar" star has been depressed since the trade and is now feeling even worse since practically being dropped by the Mavericks, which has prompted Khloe to consider canceling the couple's E! spin-off show.

"Khloé is fighting to save her marriage. She realizes the toll reality TV and being in the public eye has taken on her relationship with Lamar," a source told Hollywood Life.

"Khloé wants to make Lamar and starting a family her number one priority right now! [She's] even considering not doing another season of 'Khloé & Lamar,'" the source added.
