After a tough year that included her estranged husband's alleged drug overdose, Khloe Kardashian is sharing that prayer and a close relationship with God has helped her.

"I just always try to look at the glass half full. We're all human beings, and we all have the same problems. I do remember how blessed I am, and no matter how bad things are, they can always get worse," the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star said on her personal website, according to Us Weekly. "Counting my blessings, I pray a lot. I have a really close relationship with God."

According to the 31-year-old Strong Looks Better Naked author, her conversations with God are therapeutic.

"I have more conversations with God, and it's very therapeutic to me. It helps me through a lot of trials and tribulations," Kardashian said. "I also still make a point to thank God for the trials. As long as you never question or doubt why you're going through something, you'll always get through it and rise above."

Still, 2015 has not been an easy one for the reality TV star who battled with a staph infection after her estranged husband and former NBA star Lamar Odom was hospitalized and suffered from serious injuries after an alleged drug overdose.

"Lord knows I've had stress and anxiety lately," she said. "This year has been absolutely horrible, but it's almost done. I'm just praying that 2016 will be better. It has to be."

Kardashian has never shied away from sharing her faith publicly and even posted Biblical messages on social media and Instagram from what looks to be a devotional book.

"You say 'It's impossible.' God says 'All things are possible with Me' (Matthew 19:26)," the message in a book posted on Kardashian's Instagram page read last year.

After some negative comments reached her social media page, Kardashian chose to address them on Twitter.

"No matter what I post, there will always be people who have to spew out hate. Even when I post positive affirmations, sunsets, bible verses etc... I STILL manage to get bitter people commenting hateful things," she tweeted. "This is proof that no matter what you do you can never please everybody. So remember, always do what makes your heart smile."
