Khloe Kardashian Thinks 'Forever Is An Empty Promise' After Lamar Odom Divorce Filing
Khloe Kardashian is sharing some of her intimate thoughts with the world two weeks after filing for divorce from professional basketball player Lamar Odom.
Odom, the 34-year-old NBA free agent, has made headlines in recent months for allegedly stepping out on his marriage to Kardashian and battling with a drug addiction. While numerous media outlets have speculated about the possibility of the 29-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's marital woes, she officially filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences recently.
Although Kardashian has remained tight lipped about her divorce, she took to Instagram to reveal her inner-most thoughts on Friday.
"We always seem to forget that everything is temporary. I mean, yeah okay, it crosses our minds once in a while and we might do something daring and out of our comfort zone," Kardashian's post reads. "But when that moment passes it gets stored away in the back of our minds and we continue living our lives as if there are plenty of tomorrows waiting for us. We postpone feelings to another day, another week, another month, another year."
Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch and manager, recently spoke about the tough process that her daughter is going through.
"I think that when you have a tough decision to make and you finally make it, it's always a relief to come through that process, but it is a process," Jenner told E! recently. "So we'll see."
Still, Jenner insisted that Kardashian is remaining strong.
"Khloe really is so great," Jenner told E!. "She's strong and…the good news is that she's busy and you know, keeps her real busy. But she's good."
Kardashian revealed that while she has struggled with Odom for years, things have gotten progressively worse over the course of her four year marriage.
"A lot has been going on the past couple years just with me and Lamar and I made that choice just to keep that in my marriage," Khloe revealed in her individual confessional moment on the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" show. "But lately it's getting bigger...sometimes things are bigger than yourself."
