Khloe Kardashian to Host Radio Show in Dallas
Khloe Kardashian announced she is the new host of a radio show in Dallas, her new hometown since the Los Angeles Lakers traded her husband, Lamar Odom, in December.
"I have some very exciting news for you," Khloe posted on her blog on Tuesday night. "I'm returning to radio!!!!!!"
While Khloe, 27, lived in Miami to shoot "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," in 2009, she also had a short stint as a co-host on a WHYI weekly talk and entertainment radio show.
"I'll be joining the team at Mix 102.9 every day from 12-1pm CST for my very own show, The Mix Up with Khloe, and I could not be more thrilled about it!" the youngest Kardashian sister wrote.
Although Khloe left her fellow reality star sisters in Los Angeles to follow her husband of two years to the less glamorous city of Dallas, she seems to be making out just fine.
"You all know that I love to talk LOL, so this is the perfect gig for me," Khloe added in her blog post. "I can't wait to get started!"
Khloe has been under much media scrutiny following her mother, Kris Jenner, announcing earlier this month she had an affair during her first marriage to Robert Kardashian, Khloe's father.
Many, including another one of Robert Kardashian's ex-wives, have alleged that Khloe is not an authentic Kardashian.
"Robert was embarrassed that Kris was running around," Jan Ashley, Robert Kardashian's second wife, told RadarOnline. "He hated her so much. I heard it all the time."
"Khloe is not his kid – he told me that after we got married," Ashley also told Star magazine. "He just kind of looked at me and said it like it was a matter of fact. He said, 'Well, you know that Khloe's not really a Kardashian, don't you? And I said … 'OK,' and that was it."
The family has aggressively shot down the claims.
"The audacity you have to mention my father's name like this!" Khloe tweeted following the accusations. "Should be ashamed of urself! I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low... YOU ARE DISGUSTING! (yes you know who YOU are)."
"When the media try to manipulate things and write things that are untrue about our business ventures and our shows, it's time to step in and correct the lies," Khloe's sister, Kim Kardashan, wrote on her website.
Khloe will start her new radio gig on Monday, according to her blog.
