Khloe, Lamar Home for Sale Amid Ongoing Divorce
Khloe Kardashian has reportedly listed her marital home with Lamar Odom for sale one month after she filed for divorce.
The E! star, 29, is said to be intent on moving forward with her life following the breakdown of her four-year marriage and subsequently she is eager to move out of her and Odom's 8,347-square-foot Tarzana, Calif., home. Kardashian reportedly listed the home at $5.5 million, according to People magazine.
The estranged couple purchased the 7-bedroom, 9-bathroom house for $3.9 million in 2009, just two months after they wed in a lavish ceremony. The couple wed in a televised ceremony one month after meeting each other.
The real estate reports initially surfaced online in November, four months after the couple split in the wake of cheating allegations. TMZ.com had claimed that Kardashian has "secretly" listed the luxury property leaving her NBA star husband devastated.
"He's hurt that she's trying to force him out by trying to scare him, and trying to sell their house," a source said prior to Kardashian's divorce filing. "I see why she's doing it but still, kill all that."
On Aug. 26, it was claimed that Odom, 34, moved out of his marital home after refusing to get professional help as requested by Kardashian. It is still unclear whether there is any truth to drug addiction rumors, but st the time sources insist he was on a downward spiral, according to TMZ.com.
"Khloe always knew Lamar dabbled with drugs, but she didn't get concerned until summer when he moved out of their house so he could do whatever he wanted to," a source previously told Hollywood Life. "He got sick of her nagging him to get help, so he moved out."
The reality TV star recently expressed her optimism about the New Year and she revealed that she is "excited" about life despite her divorce.
"I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with," Kardashian told Cosmopolitan UK.
"You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life," she explained.
