'Khloe & Lamar' Premiere: Kardashian Frankly Refreshing?
The newest season of Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom began over the weekend. Although the Kardashians are frequently accused with staging scenes and often called intolerable by fans, the couple has been described this time as "refreshing."
In the most recent episode of "Khloe and Lamar" Khloe has decided that it is time to install a swing in the bedroom. Her and friend Malika, who stars in "Forever Malika," attempt to install the swing themselves. However, the two appear to have spent too much time talking and laughing and too little time working on the installation. While attempting to use the swing later on, Lamar and Khloe come crashing down as the swing is ripped from the ceiling.
"I guess I didn't install it right," Khloe laughed after the incident. However despite her bedroom shenanigans, Lamar instead teaches Khloe that he sometimes just wants to spend time with her. "But one of the lessons she learned is that sometimes Lamar just wants to spend time with her. It doesn't always have to be a race to the bedroom ... either one of them," the Huffington Post observed.
The Kardashians are perhaps most famous for getting negative reviews, however many this time had more positive comments to offer. "Khloe is the only Kardashian I like and the only one whose show I'll watch when I have time to do so. She's the only one who feels "real," if that makes sense, and the only one with any real moral compass, it seems," Jelloh wrote on the Hollywood.com blog. "Love khole and lamar!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT COUPLE!!!!!! MAKE IT WORK GUYS :)," Kidowdell3 added. "Love that! They are frankly refreshing," B12 said.
However fans on other sites were less kind. "Oh jeez, I just threw up a little in my mouth...this is entertainment? I would have thought the world and television would have been more advanced by 2012," Z wrote on the RadarOnline blog. "The Kardashians don't seem to understand why their 15 minutes of fame are evaporating. There's only so much vapid one can watch," the user rainbow added.
