Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Buy New Calif. Mansion
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly turned down a $3 million offer to publish images of their future baby in a tabloid, but do not seem to be in need of money after recently purchasing an $11 million California mansion.
Kardashian, 32-year-old reality television star, and 35-year-old rapper boyfriend West recently announced that they are expecting their first child. According to TMZ reports, the pair recently spent $11 million on a plush mansion in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.
A source reportedly told TMZ that the home is an "Italian-style villa, with a gym, movie theater, full hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool."
While the couple has proven that they have enough money to spend on lucrative luxury homes, they have been turning down offers from several outlets to showcase images of their baby. TMZ reported that the pair reportedly turned down $3 million to showcase their future child's images in an overseas tabloid.
The couple has also reportedly turned down an opportunity to document her pregnancy on MyPregnancy.com, according to RadarOnline.com. The publication stated that Armenian producer David Dginguerian was willing to give Kardashian a $250,000 signing bonus for the website that was estimated to generate $100,000 a month.
According to RadarOnline, Dginguerian was willing to donate proceeds from the website to a Christian charity of Kardashian's choosing. While it has not been confirmed if Kardashian has officially rejected Dginguerian's offer, sources told TMZ that Kardashian has been turning down a number of offers that have come about after her pregnancy was announced.
Kardashian first announced her pregnancy on her Celebuzz personal blog.
"It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby," the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star wrote. "We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us."
