Kim Kardashian Baby Name Not 'Kaidence,' Does Not Start With 'K?'
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are yet to announce the name of their newborn baby, but sources recently denied reports claiming it starts with a "K."
The reality TV star, 32, gave birth to her and West's first child Saturday about five weeks ahead of the anticipated due date. While various celebrity gossip sites claimed the baby's name was Kaidence Georgia Donda West, it is understood that this is not true.
"They're not quite ready to announce the name yet," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly magazine. "But the name definitely does not start with a K, despite all the rumors that have been out."
Kardashian is said to be doing well after giving birth to a healthy baby girl and she and West, 36, reportedly picked name for their daughter that is "sentimental" to both of them.
"[They've] chosen a name already and it's one that's sentimental to both of them," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"[The name is] something beautiful. They already settled on a name and soon everyone will know," the source added.
Kardashian spoke out for the first time since giving birth to her baby girl. The newborn reportedly weighed in at just under five pounds but is in good health.
"Can't believe it! It's so crazy!" Kardashian allegedly told E! producer Ryan Seacrest in an email.
West is said to be embracing fatherhood more each day and reports claim the birth of his daughter has inspired him musically. On June 18, the rapper's sixth studio album Yeezus was released and he is already said to be working on new material due in-part to the birth.
"He's been really inspired by the birth. He's written four songs already," a source told Life & Style magazine.
Kardashian reportedly began to experience discomfort Friday, which led to her hospitalization. She reportedly had a natural birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where her older sister Kourtney also previously gave birth.
"She was admitted with medical complications and her doctor made the decision that her baby needed to be delivered. Kim had a natural birth," the source revealed. "If Kim would have had very serious complications, her doctor would have decided to do an emergency c-section instead."
