Kim Kardashian Baby Shower: Invitations Feature Kanye West Lullaby, Spinning Ballerina
Kim Kardashian recently sent out invitations to her upcoming baby shower and the reality TV star appears to have taken inspiration from boyfriend Kanye West's music during the design process.

Kardashian's complex baby shower invitations feature a functional music box and spinning ballerina which twirls to a lullaby version of West's hit song "Hey Mama." Some critics believe the ballerina is supposed to resemble Kardashian herself, according to TMZ.com which shared photos of one invitation.

The Invitation obtained by TMZ states: "Given with love by: Kris Jenner, Shelli Azoff, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian-Odom. Guests are instructed to RSVP by May 26th and the Attire is described as 'Garden Chic.'"
Kardashian, who is said to be seven months along in her pregnancy, recently turned to her longtime family friend, Sharon Sacks, who will plan the event, which is reportedly scheduled to be held in Los Angeles.
"Sharon is excited to be planning the baby shower for Kim," a source confirmed to Life & Style magazine. "Kanye [West] is confirmed to attend the shower."
On Mother's Day, Kardashian opened up about preparing to become a mother, revealing that she is looking forward to having her first child.
"As I'm counting the days until I finally get to be a mother, I'm a bit nervous and anxious but also excited knowing that I learned from the very best," Kardashian wrote on her personal website.
"My sister, best friend, and mentor has also taught me so much about motherhood ... I am so lucky to have her as my guide and confidant as I too become a mother," she added.
The baby shower news comes days after it was revealed that Kardashian, 31, is reportedly furious after learning that West, 35, will go on a world tour shortly after their baby is born.
The untitled album is due for release on June 18, and West will be "launching a worldwide tour later this fall, early next year. Kim is giving birth in July, and the baby will only be a few months old when Kanye goes out on the road," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"Needless to say, Kim is very unhappy that Kanye won't be around as much because of his work. Even if she flew on a private jet with the baby to see Kanye, it would be impossible for mother and baby to be on the road with him," the source explained. "Kim wants to breast feed for at least the first six months. The baby needs to be on a schedule, and that is hard when crossing time lines."
