The reality TV star, 33, shared two new photographs of North, whose nickname is Nori, via social networking site Twitter on Tuesday and fans got to see the baby smiling for the first time. Kardashian appeared to refute criticism that her five-month-old daughter always appears to be unhappy.
"LOL," Kardashian wrote in the caption alongside the photo of her adorable baby.
In another happy snap, baby North is cradled by Riccardo Tisci, who is the creative Director at Givenchy. Tisci is a close friend of Kardashian and rapper Kanye West.
Kardashian and North were photographed bonding in public during a recent family get-a-way with West, 36. The family reportedly stayed in the legendary Kennedy Cottage, at the San Ysidro Ranch resort in Montecito, Calif., last week.
"Kim and Kanye never left the Ranch property," an insider told RadarOnline.com adding that at one point "Kim was also spotted cuddling little Nori on the upper level of their private deck."
The cottage, which rents rooms for approximately $3500 per night, is reportedly where Jack and Jackie Kennedy spent part of their 1953 honeymoon.
"She's the sweetest little girl. She never cries," Kardashian recently told talk show host Jay Leno. "She's a perfect little angel. I hope she grows up to be smart and opinionated like her dad."
The couple, who got engaged in October, appeared to be happy and relaxed while enjoying quality time together. Up until Thursday, West had been cautious about unveiling his daughter outdoors, but he now appears to be letting his guard down despite his dislike for the paparazzi.
"Kanye is tired of having [North] inside all the time. The only place she can get some fresh air without everybody looking at her is in her grandmother's backyard," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "He wants to be out with her, taking her on a stroller ride."
The Grammy award-winning rapper previously revealed that he plans to raise his daughter, who was born in June, with strong "Christian values" and he opened up about how fatherhood has changed him for the better.
"To me it's such a blessing," West previously told Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner about baby North. "I feel like it's going to give me the stability that I need to really create and really do God's work in the way I should."
