Kim Kardashian Debuts Post-Baby Weight Loss On Magazine Cover, 'She Worked Hard'
Kim Kardashian officially debuted her post-baby weight loss for the latest cover of Us magazine, six months after giving birth to baby North West.
The reality TV star, 33, confidently posed in swimwear for the cover shoot and her photos appear alongside the headline "My Body Is Back!"
While gossip sites previously accused Kardashian of turning to surgery to reach her weight loss goals, a source confirms that this is false and that she actually "worked really hard" to lose the baby weight naturally.
"Kim feels confident again," a source told Us. "She worked really hard and is so motivated to stay fit."
During her pregnancy Kardashian, who is 5-foot-3, admittedly gained 50 pounds however months later she has successfully lost it all. The E! star was constantly subject to weight criticism throughout her pregnancy, which she previously admitted was difficult.
"Pregnancy for me was a lot tougher than people saw on my show or from magazines. So to get back to feeling like myself just makes me feel good again," she told People magazine in October.
The new Mom is believed to have turned to an Atkins-based diet plan in addition to regular exercise to reach her weight loss goals. She previously slammed reports claiming she "cheated" by having weight loss surgery.
"I am very frustrated today seeing reports that I got surgery to lose my baby weight! This is FALSE," she tweeted.
"I worked so hard to train myself to eat right & healthy, I worked out so hard & this was such a challenge for me but I did it!!! I'm so proud of my accomplishment & NO ONE will take this away from me with fake reports!" she added.
Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner hailed her famous daughter as an "inspiration" for taking a healthy approach to weight loss.
"She's been eating right and working out and she looks great...She's trying to take it healthy," Jenner told E! News. "I think she's an inspiration to people that have to realize that you don't just have a baby and boom you just have your body back on Friday."
