"So excited to debut our latest baby line, Kardashian Kids," Kim wrote."It's a line for girls ages 0 to 24 months that will sell exclusively in Babies 'R' Us and online beginning March 15."

Kim revealed the inspiration behind the brand.

"We started this idea when Kourtney was pregnant with Penelope. It was mainly Kourtney who was the inspiration, but as I got pregnant, I started to chime in," Kim wrote. "Until you have your own child, you don't realize how important it is for fabrics to be extra soft and accessible."

She went on to express the importance of bringing affordable clothing to retail stores.

"I love how soft the fabrics are and the trendy details like lace, leatherette, gold embroidery, georgette appliqués and peplums," Kardashian wrote. "We know what mothers are looking for and so we focused on well designed clothing that is trendy and affordable!"

Earlier this month, Kardashian was questioned about dressing her own 8-month-old daughter North West in less than designer clothing.

"Absolutely! She wears everything," Kardashian wrote on Mobio INsider. "I even created a baby line, so there can be super affordable clothes for babies. It launches in March. Kids grow so fast. You need affordable clothes!"

Kardashian previously revealed that she and her fiance, rap mogul Kanye West, 36, have put some serious thought into the clothing choices for their daughter.

"I think North looks cute in light colors, and then I want to wear light colors," Kardashian told London's Sunday Times previously. "North doesn't typically wear pink, though. She wears mauve or blush, not, like, typical baby pink."
