Kim Kardashian Divorce: Kim and Kris Humphries Still in Contact?
Despite filing for divorce from her husband after only 72 days, Kim Kardashian still keeps in contact with Kris Humphries, a source told RadarOnline.
“Kim and Kris have spoken on the telephone, and are frequently exchanging text messages on their BlackBerrys,” the source said, “Kim is absolutely numb and was truly surprised at the backlash she has gotten since she decided to file for divorce.”
It isn’t surprising that the two still communicate, especially when Kris Humphries has publicly stated in the past that he still wanted to make the marriage work.

Apparently, communicating doesn’t necessarily mean the former power couple is headed for reconciliation, however.
"It's highly unlikely that Kim would want to get back together with Kris,” the source speculated, “Kris is in Minnesota, and the more time that goes on, Kim clearly sees that they are just two completely different people, that never should have gotten married.”
There certainly could have been some miscommunication between the couple, because the basketball star allegedly expected Kim to move to Minnesota and start a family.
Needless to say, Kim did not move to Minnesota.
Kim recently took a trip to Australia for some public appearances, promotion of her “Kardashian Kollection” for Sears, and to get away from it all.
The reality show star raked in a hefty fee for just an hour-long appearance at an Australian horse racing event.
This Saturday, Kim was supposed to rake in over $150,000 for a second public appearance at the Swiss vitamins marquee at Melbourne’s annual spring carnival. The actress chose instead to leave the down under for the U.S. today, stating that she was “very disappointed” that she couldn’t make it, according to the Herald Sun.
With the media frenzy surrounding the very open split, it isn’t surprising that Kim doesn’t want to stay in one place for very long.
Kim told a family member she was, “embarrassed” by the quickly shattered marriage, says TMZ.
She also admits to having “rushed” into “marrying for love.”
