Kim Kardashian Divorce: Kris Humphries Hires Sports Lawyer for Divorce
Now that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have their divorce irrevocable, Humphries has made the first move by hiring lawyer Lee Hutton.
Many sports stars use the lawyer from Minnesota, but he usually does not deal with divorce. Sources tell TMZ it should not be a problem because the divorce’s terms are simple.
As reported yesterday by TMZ, there are no conflicts between the pair because of the prenuptial agreement.
The divorce will legally be completed in six months as required by the law.
New rumors regarding Kardashian surfaced yesterday claiming the singer is on the verge of an emotional breakdown because of all the stress the divorce is causing.
Star magazine recently reported the reality star is losing weight, cannot sleep, and is experiencing a bundle of emotions.
LaLa Anthony, Kardashian's best friend, told Extra TV she spoke to Kardashian and did not believe she was stressing.
"Kim's like, 'I think I did good today!' It's fun to hear her, you know, starting to step into that space of her career," said Anthony of Kardashian's excitement on her movie role.
The Insider was able to get a scoop on what happened during Kardashian's meeting in Minnesota from a source: "They were both very happy to reconnect with one another. The meeting was very amicable and it's safe to say a few tears were shed; they spent hours together trying to find some resolution ... to leave things on a happy note ... to hold on to the friendship that was the basis of their relationship,” said the source to The Insider.
TMZ broke a story today explaining any chance of reconciling is over, and the divorce is still on. Sources said Humphries' lawyers are handling the divorce for him. TMZ also reported there is no conflict in the terms of the divorce with both sides agreeing to everything.
Kardashian said one of the reasons why she married Kris was to start a family.
“I want a family, babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon," said Kardashian to the Sun.
The reality star filed for divorce from her husband just 72 days after tying the knot, citing irreconcilable differences.
