Kim Kardashian Flour Bomb Attack Prompts Khloe to Quit PETA
The woman who doused Kim Kardashian with cooking flour during a red carpet appearance has been identified as having ties to PETA, which has prompted the reality TV personality's sister, Khloe, to leave the animal rights group.
Christina Cho is said to be a longtime PETA activist whose younger sister is a top PETA official in Los Angeles, and Khloe Kardashian, who has done promotional work for the group, issued a statement condemning the organization, according to Celebuzz.com.
"I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won't be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise," Khloe wrote in a statement posted on her website.

"I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I've been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me," she added.
Khloe, 28, was referring to the humiliating flour bombing incident which took place during Kim's launch of her new perfume in West Hollywood on Thursday night.
Cho approached an unsuspecting Kim, who often flaunts animal fur clothing, and covered her from head to toe in flour before attempting to flee the scene.
The animal rights campaigner was eventually arrested by local police, and while a non-criminal battery report was taken, Cho was later released.
While Kim had initially vowed to "laugh it off" and not to press charges against Cho, the 31-year-old has now decided that she will pursue charges, according to TMZ.
In response to Khloe's statement, PETA took the opportunity to reiterate its animal rights objective.
"We appreciate that Khloe will remain on the animals' side by not wearing fur - that's what counts. If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn't alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot, or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing," PETA wrote in a recent statement, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"Khloe is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister," they added.
