Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Baby to Be Named Christ With A 'K'?
Kim Kardashian has confirmed that she and Kanye West are considering "K"-themed names for their first child and a new report claims West suggested that they name their baby in honor of Christ.
The couple's first child is due in July and West, 35, is reportedly drawn to the name Christ but spelt with a K. The rapper is also reportedly considering calling one of his upcoming songs "I Am A God," according to BBC News.
"Kanye likes the name Khrist," a close friend of Kardashian's reportedly told blogger Naughty But Nice Rob.
"I know it is shocking, but let's remember that this is a guy that is naming his new CD, 'I Am A God.' So it makes perfect sense that the child of a god would be named Christ with a K," the source explained.
In a recent interview, Kardashian, who is five months along in her pregnancy, confirmed that she and West are still undecided on their baby name. The reality TV star has not ruled out naming her baby Khrist.
"I think it would be really cute because Kanye and I are both K's, but half the names on our list aren't K's," Kardashian told Extra of the decision.
"We still have time, [so we'll do] whatever feels right." Kardashian added that West "wants something that's unique."
In addition to the "Khrist," West reportedly suggested North in recent weeks, insisting that the unusual moniker compliments his last name.
"Kanye's ego is something else, so he's quite serious about the title," a source told The Sun U.K.
"He also has a sense of humor though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It's half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true," the source added.
On March 1 it was claimed that the 32-year-old reality TV star had selected her younger sister Khloe, 28, to be her baby's Godmother.
"Khloe will be the godmother," a source reportedly told HollywoodLife.com.
