Kim Kardashian 'Loved' Met Gala Dress, Kanye West 'Embarrassed' Over Criticism? (PHOTO)
Kanye West is said to be mortified over the criticism surrounding his girlfriend Kim Kardashian's Met Gala dress, but the reality star reportedly does not regret her choice of attire.
Kardashian, who is seven months along in her pregnancy, attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala Monday after scoring an invite through West, 35 and her flower print Givenchy gown set tongues wagging. The unique gown, which was designed by Givenchy's creative director Riccardo Tisci, was a hot topic on social networking sites, with some fans criticizing her ensemble.
"Kanye is annoyed, as the dress is by his best friend Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, and he feels embarrassed that Kim is messing with a beautiful piece of art," a source told Life & Style magazine.

The Met Gala, considered by the fashion industry's elite as one of the biggest fashion events of the year, was hosted by Vogue magazine and this year's theme was "Punk: Chaos to Couture."
"[Kim] loved the dress just the way Riccardo designed it for her. His vision for her was a romantic Spanish theme with touches of boldness and punk," a source told Us magazine.
Kardashian's dress was reportedly not her first choice, with reports claiming the reality TV star, 31, was forced to make a last minute dress change to accommodate her burgeoning baby bump.
"It had to be modified five times for her growing frame," an alleged friend of Kardashian said regarding her original dress.
The reality TV star, who is due to give birth in July, admitted that she understands that fashion is not the same for everyone.
"I love fashion and I'm really excited to see everyone's take on punk," Kardashian told Vogue upon her red carpet arrival.
"I know it's different for everybody … everyone has their own take on it, so it will be really interesting to me to see what the designers and everyone else thinks about punk," she added.
Kardashian had reportedly been banned from the Met Gala in previous years, with reports claiming Vogue Editor Anna Wintour was not fond of the reality star. West was reportedly able to invite her as a plus one because he performed during the night.
"Anna hates Kim! Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn't fit that bill at all," a source previously told Radar Online regarding the 2012 Met Gala.
"The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim can't even buy her way in, Anna Wintour does NOT want her there!" the source added.
